| The Headquarters for Enjoining Right and Forbidding Evil is an "involved person" under the Iran (Sanctions) (Human Rights) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (the "Iran Sanctions Regulations") on the following ground: The Headquarters for Enjoining Right and Forbidding Evil is or has been involved in the commission of a serious human rights violation or abuse in Iran, including being responsible for, engaging in and promoting violations of the right to liberty and security and the right to freedom of expression through determining and enforcing mandatory dress codes for women, including the use of unreasonable force against individuals they deem to be non-compliant. |
